fripSide 2기 정규 4집 앨범으로, 2016년 10월 5일에 발매되었다. 초회한정반 2가지(CD+DVD, CD+블루레이)와 통상반 1가지로 발매되었다.

fripSide 네덜란드 다큐멘터리 영상

1번 트랙 2016 -Third cosmic velocity-은 가사가 없는 인트로곡이다.[2]
1기 앨범 binarydigit 이후 9년만에 앨범에 인트로곡을 넣었다.
3번 트랙 1983-schwarzesmarken- (IS3 Version)과 8번 트랙 white forces -IS3 Edition-은 싱글 white forces에 수록된 두 곡에 전주곡을 붙여서 본 정규앨범 버전으로 나온 것이다. 이렇게 나온 이유는 white forces의 레이블이 avex이기 때문에 NBC 유니버설 레이블로 출시하기 위해 리마스터한 것으로 보인다.
5번 트랙 magicaride -Version 2016-와 9번 트랙 crescendo -Version 2016-은 1기 시절 각각 split tears에 수록된 magicaride와 the very best of fripSide 2002-2006에 수록된 crescendo를 2기 스타일로 리메이크한 곡이다.
