{{{#000000 지난 2006년 4집 [Se7olution]을 끝으로 3년이라는 오랜 기간 동안 국내 무대를 떠났던 세븐이 새롭게 변신한 모습으로 돌아왔다.
2003년 부드러운 팝알앤비곡 ‘와줘’로 데뷔, ‘열정’ ‘난 알아요’ ‘라라라’ 등 힙합과 알앤비를 오가며 완벽한 라이브무대를 선보이는 매력적인 보컬리스트이자 댄스가수로 자리매김한 세븐.
하지만 총 7곡이 수록된 이번 미니앨범 [Digital Bounce]는 일렉트로닉 팝 스타일의 곡들이 주를 이루고 있어 세븐의 새로운 매력을 엿볼 수 있다.
앞서 공개된 티저영상으로 화제를 모은 타이틀곡 ‘Better together’는 신예그룹 2NE1의 다양한 히트곡을 만들어 낸 테디가 작곡한 곡으로 강렬한 전자사운드와 비트로 시작되어 순식간에 듣는 이들의 귀를 사로잡기 충분한 곡이다. 리드미컬한 랩으로 시작하여 점점 보컬이 부각되는 독특한 구조를 지닌 이 곡은 세븐의 보컬리스트로서의 장점을 유지하면서 새로운 매력을 느끼기에 충분한 곡이다.
빅뱅의 탑이 랩 피처링으로 참여해 화제를 모은 수록곡 ‘Digital bounce’ 는 제목에서 느낄 수 있듯이 독특한 바운스감이 느껴지는 강렬한 일렉트로닉팝 곡으로 곳곳에 재치 넘치는 음향효과가 배치되어 있어 즐겁게 즐길 수 있는 곡이다. 감정이 절제된 듯한 세븐의 보컬과 탑의 강렬한 랩핑이 대조를 이루며 매력을 느낄 수 있는 이 곡은 마치 클럽에 와 있는 듯한 느낌을 준다.

2010년 7월 13일 오전 YG엔터테인먼트 공식 홈페이지를 통해 새 앨범의 트랙 및 수록곡 'Digital Bounce'의 음원 일부를 첫 공개했다.
타이틀곡 'Better Together'는 YG의 메인 프로듀서 Teddy가 작사, 작곡한 곡이다.
두 번째 트랙인 'Digital Bounce'은 BIGBANG의 T.O.P이 피처링에 참여했다.
2010년 7월 20일 서울 청담동 클럽 앤써에서 세븐의 미니앨범 발매를 기념하기 위한 '세븐 디지털 바운스 릴리스 파티 위드 블랙베리'가 열렸다. 이후 인터뷰에서 세븐은 "원래 빅뱅 처음 나왔을 때부터 탑과 같이 듀엣이나 싱글 같은 것을 하고 싶었다. 사실 빅뱅에서 지드래곤이나 태양은 정말 어렸을 때부터 봐서 친한 사이인데 탑은 사적으로 가장 자주 만나는 후배이다."라고 함께 작업하게 된 배경을 밝혔다. 또한 양현석은 "탑도 기대가 컸는지 세븐 노래에 랩한걸 네 번이나 고쳤다. 녹음하고 갔다가 며칠 후에 와서 다시 녹음하겠다고 여러 번 그랬다."라며 세븐 신보에 대한 탑의 애정을 언급했다. #
앨범은 2010년 7월 21일 자정에 공개된 직후 음원 사이트에 실시간차트 1위에 올랐다. #
