영국의 신스팝 듀오 펫 샵 보이즈가 엘비스 프레슬리의 Always on My Mind를 영국 ITV의 엘비스 사망 10주기 특별 TV
프로그램 Love Me Tender 에서 신스팝 버젼으로 리메이크한 곡이다. 이때 사람들의 반응이 좋아서 노래를 다듬어 싱글로 발매를 했다.

1987년 UK 차트 크리스마스 1위, UK 차트 4주 연속 1위, 빌보드 핫 100 4위등 영미권에서 큰 인기를 얻었던 곡이다. 하지만 이 곡은 펫 샵 보이즈의 아무 앨범에도 수록되지 않았는데[2] 후에 이 노래가 Actually 앨범에 수록되지 않은 것에 팬들이 잔뜩 화가 나자, 그때서야 부랴부랴 12인치 Always on My Mind를 앨범에 리패키징 했다고 한다. 1987년 영국의 가장 유력했던 크리스마스 1위인 포그스의 Fairytale of New York 을 누르고 크리스마스 1위를 차지했는데, 이때 포그스의 프론트맨 쉐인 맥거원이 우린 두 게이와 드럼머신에게 졌다.[3] 라는 막말을 한것은 유명하다. 또한 이 싱글은 앨범 시장이 주류인 한국에도 발매되었다.
