헤르만 귄터 그라스만(Grassmann, Hermann Günther 1809~1877) 또는 H. G. 그라스만(Grassmann)은 독일의 언어학자이자 수학자였다. 연산(演算)이 가능하도고 일반화된 기호(記號,symbol)를 만들었으며, 비교 언어학의 그라스만 법칙을 발견하였다. 또한 그의 저서 《Die Lineale Ausdehnungslehre, ein neuer Zweig der Mathematik》에서 내적과 외적에 대한 개념을 제안하는등 벡터(vector) 해석의 기초를 닦았으나 20세기에 이르러서야 인정되었다.[가]
